What's up, Ardent Nation?

Last weekend was awesome for sports. We witnessed Christian Coleman break the 60 metre world record in a stunning time of 6.34 seconds and we had potentially the best NBA All-Star Break ever!

First and foremost, let's look at Christian Coleman's race.

He ran in The US Indoor Championships in New Mexico, in Lane 5, and broke Maurice Greene's 20 year world record of 6.39 seconds, lowering it to 6.34 seconds. His start was phenomenal, as usual, and then he continued to make history.

Now, onto the NBA All-Star Break.

Quavo, the Head Huncho of the Migos, won the MVP award of the NBA All-Star Celebrity game, and the World team, beat the USA team in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday.

On Saturday night, Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets won the skills challenge in style against Lauri Markkanen of the Chicago Bulls.

Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns also had an awesome night setting a record of 28 points in the 3-point contest, just beating Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors by 3 points.

And to round off an awesome All-Star Weekend, Team LeBron beat Team Stephen by 3-points, winning 148 – 145, in one of the best All-Star games we have ever seen.

What an amazing weekend we had for sports! Let's see what the rest of both the track and field season, and the NBA season have to offer!
