Whatever it takes

You got to want to win. The will to win must be bigger than all of your fears and worries, if you actually want to achieve what you set out to achieve at the start of the year.

A lot of people have already given up on their goals or 'not started yet' because in hindsight it wasn't 'practical' or they have 'too many things going on'; but the fact is that's just another excuse.

All you are doing is just saying, "I wanted it but now I don't". Simple as.

Excuses Excuses Excuses

The fact of the matter is that you're excuse is invalid. You were feeling ambitious and feeling good when you set the goal but now, a month into the process, it's hard so you don't go to the gym as often, you don't eat as healthily, you don't tick off every task that was set for the day, and you're okay with that.

Bluntly put, that's how you start to lose. And when you start losing, what do you become?

But winners understand that when the going gets tough, that's when they need to get going. That's when they need to dig deeper.

Hard Work

Muhammed Ali said that he only started counting his press ups when they started to hurt. Every successful person in any area of their life has had to work hard. They've all had to go through the times of uncertainty, but they stayed at it. They had a zero options mentality, like their backs are against the wall.

And that's the difference.

"When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful."
